This, by one hand, results bothered because shows that victimization’s causes and his effects still present; by other hand, is very important bolds some kind of social awakens about the question: philosophic arguments, law’s initiatives, films, social and demographic studies, expositions, meetings of civil society organizations, etc. Some way, a collective conscience about victim’s lives, their history and present, makes urgent theorize deeply and detail about causes of this reality and define an ethic response before each one of this victims which has a face, a personal name and some specific story of life. For this reason the proposal of this paper is show theories about notion of «victim» in 21st Century and six philosophic perspectives that broaden the theoretical scope of this topic.Es indudable que el concepto de «víctima» ha estado presente en el ámbito filosófico, sociológico y político en estas dos primeras décadas del siglo XXI. Por un lado, este hecho es preocupante porque indica que las causas de victimización siguen presentes y sus efectos latentes; pero por otro, destaca un despertar social sobre la cuestión: reflexiones filosóficas, iniciativas de ley, obras cinematográficas, estudios sociodemográficos, exposiciones museísticas, manifestaciones de diversas organizaciones de la sociedad civil, etc. De algún modo, la consciencia colectiva sobre la existencia histórica de víctimas y su prevalencia hasta el día de hoy, hacen necesario reflexionar cada vez con mayor profundidad y detalle las causas de esta realidad. Esta consciencia también exige, como humanidad, una respuesta ética e histórica ante cada víctima que posee rostro, nombre propio, y una historia personal de vida.
