Summary: In Argentina, indigenous children’s everyday lives develop in a complex scene, known for its strong strains between social agents with countering interests. This paper presents anthropological reflections on how children’s and indigenous rights are articulated in Argentina. Some cases are briefly introduced as triggers for problematizing the meanings of childhood, of indigenous peoples and of their rights that come into play, and for exploring the ways in which different sort of rights are articulated by diverse social agents, either reinforcing or competing each other.
