This study presents an analysis of the environmen
t succeeding the
economic crisis that has significantly affected the
EU, explains the central aspects that
have led to this crisis, and describes an economy c
an meet these objectives. Additionally,
this study evaluates the regulations adopted by the
European Union over the period
examined by the study, focusing on the positions as
sumed by the European Council and
the financial conditions that followed, relative to
the introduction of the normative
measures. Further, the study analyzes the results f
rom the economic institutions' reform,
focusing on the role which the Central Bank has pla
yed historically and the methods used
to further advance desirable characteristics for a
bank union. It can be concluded that the
European Council did not proactively react to the e
conomic crisis, the early,
heterogeneous political ideologies displayed by the
European Union on the crisis have not
resulted in a unique, joint, and coordinated princi
ple until after the deterioration of the
Eurozone, and the process of European integration h
as strengthened and accelerated a
more proactive methodology.

Asimismo, se estudian las medidas normativas adoptadas en el ámb ito de la Unión Europea a lo largo del horizonte temporal objeto del estudio, prestando un a especial atención a las posiciones asumidas por el Consejo Europeo y se analizan las m edidas de carácter financiero que siguieron, con mayor o menor celeridad, a la introd ucción de las medidas normativas. También se enfoca la cuestión de la reforma de las instituciones económicas europeas, revisando el papel desempeñado por el Banco Central Europeo en este largo devenir histórico y avanzando las características de una de seable Unión Bancaria. Con todo ello, se sostiene que el Consejo Europeo ha actuado de fo rma no proactiva ante los envites de la crisis; que la voluntad política de la Unión Europe a para afrontar la crisis no se ha manifestado de manera conjunta ni coordinada hasta que el deterioro de la zona euro ha sido clamoroso; y que el proceso de integración eur opea se ha fortalecido y acelerado siguiendo un patrón reactivo.2015text (article)application/pdfhttps://dialnet.unirioja.es/servlet/oaiart?codigo=5856419(Revista) ISSN 2695-7728(Revista) ISSN 0213-988XAnuario de la Facultad de Derecho.
