The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the currentregulation that the Cuban Civil Code contains about the applicablelaw to the economic regime of marriage as an effect of formalizationof the marriage between Cubans and foreigners. In order toachieve this goal, it is denoted the private international characterof mix marriage and patrimonial relationships as its consequences,by analyzing both the main issues that in matter of regulation ofeconomic regime transcend from domestic law to international law,and the law applicable to this subject. Also, in this work, we delimitthe main tendencies that are presented in domestic laws concerningthe regulation of the applicable law to the economic regime, then weend up with the author´s criteria concerning this particular aspect inCuba, and its main deficiencies in today Cuban reality. |
