And finally conceive decision-making dilemmas in the scheme by the absence of protocols. This methodology for critical analysis of conceptual notions established and / or built in literature topic applies. Therefore, the methodology is qualitative, hermeneutical type and subtype of symbolic interaction. The results show transdisciplinarity as an epistemological statute in which it is known to act and, in case of Safety Sciences will act under the guidance of ethical principles and values.Las ciencias de la seguridad fragmentan al objeto de estudio al abordarlo desde múltiples ámbitos. Pero el propósito final es el mismo: Tomar decisiones en beneficio de la seguridad. El objetivo de este ensayo es mostrar el estatuto transdisciplinario de las Ciencias de la Seguridad; distinguirlo del interdisciplinario y multidisciplinario por la característica específica de la toma de decisiones. Y finalmente, concebir la toma de decisiones en el esquema de dilemas por la ausencia de protocolos. Para ello se aplica la metodología del análisis crítico conceptual de las nociones que se establecen y/o construyen en la literatura del tema. Por tanto, la metodología es cualitativa, de tipo Hermenéutico y del subtipo del interaccionismo simbólico.
