To this end, bibliographic and documentary research was carried out in national and international doctrine, legislation and jurisprudence. After analyzing the data, it was found that there is still, in Brazil, some distrust in using both institutes, which can be attributed to unfamiliarity of its benefits and the fear of using international treaties as parameters for the non-application of internal rules, situation to be urgently overcome.O objetivo do presente artigo é demonstrar a relevância do bloco de constitucionalidade e do controle de convencionalidade na proteção dos direitos humanos no Brasil, a partir da exposição dos seus delineamentos conceituais e práticos. Para tal, foi realizada pesquisa bibliográfica e documental na doutrina, legislação e jurisprudência nacionais e estrangeiras.
