It details the efforts of the Supreme Tribunal of Elections of Costa Rica to disseminate, in an accurate and timely manner, its resolutions in order to make them comprehensible for the population and to attain respect for the fundamental right to have access to information regarding matters of public interest and transparency. This work aims at describing the creation of the Area for the Formation and Training of Political Parties of IFED (Supreme Tribunal of Elections) in order to gather the experiences and lessons learned during the period between June 2011 and April 2013El presente ensayo postula que la claridad de las sentencias electorales es uno de los factores que condiciona su accesibilidad. Detalla los esfuerzos del Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones de Costa Rica para divulgar -oportuna y eficazmente- sus fallos, así como para que estos resulten comprensibles para el común de las personas, de modo que se respete el derecho fundamental de acceso a información sobre asuntos de interés público y el principio de transparencia.
