Thus, we propose its implementation in the Mexican electoral law in order to prevent, as much as possible, the judicialization of the electoral processes and the detriment of the institutions as it was the case in the last two presidential electionsCon el presente trabajo no pretendemos innovar, simplemente es nuestra intención poner de manifiesto que la segunda vuelta en las elecciones presidenciales otorgan legitimidad al candidato vencedor, con ello emanan dos acciones fundamentales para un gobierno: la gobernanza pacífica y la credibilidad de las instituciones por parte de la sociedad.
