Summary: Intellectual capital (IC) is increasingly important in companies, especially in the developed regions. In fact, it is the main source of competitive advantage of many firms. That is why it is of great interest to study and analise IC for both firm managers and academicians, and it is relevant from the company’s perspective and when we talk about the economy of a region or country. According to these reasons, it is necessary to get accounting and non-accounting information about intellectual capital, and to learn how to manage it correctly.
