The events of the General and Extraordinary Courts that were celebrated in Cadiz between 1810 and 1813 represent the argument in which memories emerge, disturbing dilemmas about historic continuity and rupture, and compel to imagine a legal literature from the desires of happiness, prosperity, freedom or justice.
