This proposal exceeded the description of democracy as political regime, since it included the redistribution of the State’s income and wealth as treasury shares of a true democracy. This article tries to answer whether there is an associated effect between the levels of satisfaction that the population has about the operation of democracy and their economic satisfaction. In other words, can someone evaluate the democracy in a better way if they are satisfied with their financial situation? To address this question a model of normal probability (dprobit) is applied with data from the 2009 Latinobarometro.
