However, throughout history it is argued that freedom is a principle that is held in the right and that increasingly brings new freedoms to the extent that the law recognizes and gives full protection.En el presente trabajo se trata de esbozar los criterios del derecho a la libertad, para ello, se ha graficado las diferentes concepciones de la libertad, así como de sus restricciones, empero cabe precisar que este desarrollo, esta orientado a entender mejor si la naturaleza de la libertad es un derecho o un principio.
