Summary: This paper explores the background and the parliamentary debates of Labour´s Court constitution bill in the state of Buenos Aires in the year 1948 with the aim of considering the efforts to modify the spatial distribution of the state´s Judiciary. Such debates were important insofar as they established new headers for the offices of the courts of those established in the six existing judicial departments so far. This territorial change process is important for understanding the emergence of new judicial departments after the enactment of this Act, whose header will be the offices of the new departments.
