The contents of that philosophical element are expounded in accordance with the doctrine of Jouffroy's natural law. Leroux, in turn, contributes with his formulation of the law of progress, approaching the progressive development of each people as part and parcel of the progressive development of humanity.En este artículo se estudian las influencias filosóficas en el pensamiento de Alberdi. En primer lugar, se destaca el aporte del historicismo romántico, que a través de Lerminier se halla atemperado por un "elemento filosófico" constituido por principios no sujetos a variación. Los contenidos de ese elemento filosófico son expuestos siguiendo la doctrina del derecho natural de Jouffrey.
