The sample consisted of 8170 subjects, living in the state of Morelos, Mexico. It was selected from a proportional stratified sampling and was composed of 49.9% women and 50.1% men, in a range of ages from 12 to 60 years old. The measurement instrument was adapted from the Encuesta Nacional de Victimización y Percepción de Inseguridad (Mexico).
