In this work, we analyze the funding systems established by the three main International Organizations that develop these missions (UN, NATO and EU); they are three totally different systems, so that we are interested in their essential elements, their advantages and disadvantages, in order to make a comparison between them from the point of view of their effectiveness.Teniendo en cuenta el número de operaciones de mantenimiento de la paz activas en estos momentos y el clima de crisis económica en el que nos encontramos, la cuestión de la financiación de estas operaciones se vuelve cada vez más fundamental.
