New technologies have a well known impact on improving production cycles and creating better jobs. Present paper investigates digital process of modernization among European public administration, starting from initiatives and proposals at EU level and consequent implementation by member States. In Italy a quite remarkable case is represented by Regione Lazio, a territorial entity which taking advantage of its statutory regime of autonomy, performed plans and strategies that led to a leading position into national modernization process. The goal is to create outputs that, by one hand support the achievement of ambitious Europe 2020 targets, and by the other foster relations among particulars and public powers even for what concerns citizens’ participation to local political and social life. |
