The demand for compensation for damages resulting from the illegal international treatment data (= images), from the perspective of international private law, raises two problems, which are mainly related to the determination of the court having jurisdiction to hear an particular dispute and the determination of the applicable law to resolve the dispute in question.El daño derivado de la intromisión ilegítima en el derecho a la propia imagen o en el derecho a la protección de datos (entendiendo que una imagen es un dato de carácter personal), manifestado en el uso indebido o ilegítimo de una imagen, sobre la base de la inexistencia de una vinculación jurídica entre el causante del daño y el afectado, puede ser consecuencia de una transferencia internacional.
