Summary: A May 14, 2004, Decision of the European Commission and the May 28, 2004, International Agreement between the European Union and the United States of America, have created the legal frame to allow the airlines the transference of the passengers information data. After the annulment of both sources by the Court of Justice of the European Communities in 2006, the legal frame was substituted first by the October 16, 2006, Provisional Agreement between the European Union and the United States of America and, after, by the Agreement signed on July 23, 2007 by the EU and on July 26, 2007 by USA.
