Summary: The article will consider the actual legal framework in relation to disputes arising in the field of media and its relationship with the right to information. After pointing out the background, the work will difference between freedom of expression and right to communicate information, potential conflicts between that and the right to honor, concerning the right to freedom of thought, and the limits thereof, with appropriate proceedings provided by the law to protect the right to overreach any information that may finally violate the right to honor and reputation. This paper will consider the role the Church can play in such a framework, proposing the need for a strategy, passing through concrete action principles and having clearing content, avoiding unnecessary discussions that might attract the attention of human beings, but do not respond to the need to be informed and the obligation to inform itself of the media, learn to manage them properly: limit the negative effects and exploit the possibilities offered by information showing that the media communication Christians do not have to speak a different language to the other, but show the very essence of his character redeemed.
