The study analyzes cannons that the 1917 Code dedicated to more exorcism, the statements of the Council with regard to sacramentals, 1172 Cannon, poscodiciales documents, claims of the Ritual of exorcism and any subsequent document, in relation to subject that can license the priest to perform exorcisms, reconciling the different texts.El Ordinario del lugar es quien debe dar licencia peculiar y expresa al sacerdote para realizar los exorcismos mayores. El Ritual de Exorcismos dice que la licencia la otorgará el Ordinario del lugar el cual, según la norma, será el propio Obispo Diocesano.
