In others cases, what begins as an exorcism ritual that aims to help the victim, ends in violent death. And sometimes the criminals themselves suffer the effects of those beliefs. In this article, the author lists some of the most shocking cases of recent decades.En pleno siglo XXI, la superstición y la creencia en elementos intangibles capaces de dominar nuestra vida siguen teniendo un importante peso en la crónica negra. Con frecuencia, los delincuentes las utilizan para someter a las víctimas, amenazándolas con males enviados directamente desde el más allá. En otros casos, lo que comienza como un ritual de exorcismo que pretende ayudar a la víctima, acaba en muerte violenta. Y, a veces, son los propios criminales los que padecen los efectos de esas creencias.
