In this article it is carried out a Content Analysis of the electoral campaign that preceded the elections for the Galician Parliament held on March 1 2009. We take into account the campaign strategies of the three main political groups that participated in those elections, Partido Popular de Galicia (PPdeG), Partido dos Socialistas de Galicia-Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSdeG-PSOE) y Bloque Nacionalista Galego (BNG). We conclude that the PP campaign surpassed the rest by making better use of heresthetics, as it achieved an agenda that prevailed over that of the other two political options. |
