Officers must interpret the principles recognized in that law according to the political and economic foundations enshrined in the Constitution. Although Decree 292/2011 generates multiple questions, in essence gives legal protection to legal acts with deep roots in society, responds to the historical moment of its enactment and directs the new directions of the country’s economic policy. So the best thing is that the judicial officers interpret it with rationality and logic, in tune with the political sources that prompted it and forming part of the legal system in which it is incorporated.La regulación de la compraventa de vehículos de motor en Cuba, así como de otras formas de transmisión inter vivos del dominio sobre dichos bienes ha significado un reto sustancial para los operadores del Derecho y para la sociedad en general. Corresponde a los operadores del Derecho interpretar los principios reconocidos en dicha norma conforme con los fundamentos políticos y económicos consagrados en la Constitución. Si bien el Decreto 292/2011 abre multitud de interrogantes, en su esencia da cobertura legal a actos jurídicos con un gran arraigo social, responde al momento histórico de su promulgación y encauza los nuevos derroteros de la política económica del país.
