Summary: As recalled, the march 7, 2011, an accident claimed the lives of nine miners Angelopolis Sinifaná Basin, southeast of Antioquia, a tragedy in the long list of similar events in the small mining tunnel, which returned to highlight the serious security flaws work presented in this exploitation. It is a problem that affects not only the 300 informal mines of this basin, is also prevalent in departments such as Boyacá and Norte de Santander, where informal mining is the source of income for thousands of families.
