Summary: The current study is a contribution to the juridicaladministration study on waste management in Costa Rica in the context of the N° 8839 Law, of the 24th of June, 2010, �on the integral management of waste�. By means of doctrinal contributions of jurists� experts on the theme and a juridical analysis on the Law referred to, it aims to examine the environmental problems related to waste material confronting our juridical orderings, applying the knowledge of the administrative and environmental Law.
