Possibilities seem endless as people are able to maintain citizenship both ways. Rights and duties are to be carried out in México and in the United States; sovereignty and frontiers observed. Even though political facts caused Mexican promote Mexican vote in the U.S.A., is not less of an effort the community support it was given, and the commitment with their origin towns, granting it its own legitimacy. Nevertheless, institutional changes and the creation of new ones are to be hold a diffi cult process. Transnationality has faced obstacles that may disappear within the years and with the binational cooperationDesde el ámbito nacional emerge un nuevo impacto transnacional: se pueden tener las votaciones de un país en otro. Este cambio ha superado lo puramente cultural y se ha expandido a lo legal e institucional. La transnacionalidad activa las relaciones de personas e instituciones de un país y de otro, abriendo la posibilidad para las personas de ser ciudadanos tanto de Estados Unidos como de México y mantener sus derechos y obligaciones en ambos países, respetándose los límites territoriales y de soberanía. Aunque fueron varios los factores políticos que causaron el voto mexicano en el extranjero, la colectividad que lo apoya le da su propia legitimidad, además del ya demostrado compromiso con sus comunidades de origen. Sin embargo, los cambios institucionales y la creación de nuevas instituciones nunca son un proceso fácil.
