The media childhood representation does not take into account the children´s right perspective. The prevalence,
interest and responsibility are legal aspects that establish this perspective, therefore journalist need to change
their practices to generate creative proposals that encourage childhood imaginary as a subject of rights. This
article emerges from a previous study of Media representation and a children rights perspective in Colombia. The
ethnomethodology was used as a way to penetrate the media logic. The aim is to reflect on journalistic practice
and consider new ways to make news coverage and treatment taking into account this perspective. |
