Summary: |
A critical analysis of how health professionals and others build theoretical and practical
approaches for dealing with violence. Some negative views such as dysfunctional families
produce limitations on the ability to understand these realities. Paths are pointed from the
philosophies of Spinoza and Deleuze to build other ways of understanding these
phenomena. Experimental knowledge and the affective life of the professional are taken
into account. Dissociation between individual and social factors is a frequent obstacle that
can be overcome with these theoretical tools, in order to understand the modes of family
organization and subjective processes underway in the contemporary world. |
