Summary: The present work explores the relationship between law and globalisation to establish future fields for research. It begins with an introduction about the effects of globalisation on the state, followed by a brief look at the meaning of globalisation. It then presents the main topics, problems and focus of interest concerning the relationship between law and globalisation, especially regarding the topic of human rights. Some conclusions are made highlighting the importance of opening new fields for globalisation studies due to the need for regulation required by globalised matters.
