Summary: |
The essay De la réorganisation de la société européenne, published
in October 1814 by Henry Saint Simon and Augustin Thierry, has emerged in
the ongoing debate as a landmark study among modern theories of European
integration. Despite its shortness and the unsystematic character of its
argument, the essai contains a more general theoretical dimension, closely
