Summary: There are new economic and polítical actors in South America. Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia are currently under neopopulist regimes and this fact occurred due to reduced economic development, unemployment and bad social conditions. The neopopulist system in South America could be condemned to failure since it is supported by the exportation of natural resources; whose price is the market is inconstant. On the other hand, for neopopulism to stay, it is required a growing public expenditure, which is unsustainable at a long period of time.
