It starts from the idea that statutory rights are not only legitimate from a constitutional standpoint but they suppose a positive contribution to build an autonomous constitutional space. It discusses the idea that the statutory rights and the greater constitutional density of the Statutes could suppose a higher stability of the Autonomous statehood. On the contrary, it rejects the usual identification between Constitutional Law and State and it promotes a view of the Constitutional Law integrated into a supranational and territorial context in line with its historical function: the control of political power whether or not state. All without prejudice to recognize the centrality of the State as in what it concerns to the legislative structure of the fundamental rights. Then it analyzes the rights, principles and statutory objectives taking into account their regulatory efficiency and the existing constitutional jurisprudence.El artículo analiza los derechos, principios y objetivos incorporados a los Estatutos de Autonomía en las recientes reformas estatuarias. Parte de la idea de que los derechos estatutarios no sólo son legítimos desde el punto de vista constitucional sino que suponen una aportación positiva a la construcción de un espacio constitucional autonómico. Cuestiona la idea de que los derechos estatutarios y la mayor densidad constitucional de los Estatutos supongan una mayor estatalidad de la Comunidad Autónoma. Por el contrario, rechaza la identificación habitual entre Derecho constitucional y Estado y propugna una visión del Derecho constitucional integrado en un contexto supranacional y territorial acorde con su función histórica: el control del poder político sea o no estatal. Todo ello sin perjuicio de reconocer la centralidad del Estado en lo que a la conformación normativa de los derechos fundamentales se refiere.
