Laburpena: The author propones applying the rhetorical concepts of inventio, dispositio, repetitio, descriptio, gradatio, transitio, metonymy, example, centrality, topics, etc., which are characteristics of literary narrative, to the genre of visual narrative. From this perspective, he analyses the illustrations of the Cantigas 18, 122, 142, 169, 209, 235, 257, 299, 256, and 292. He also analyses those incomplete illustrations from Codex Fwhich provide grounds for discussion.
