Based on the concern about the negative perception most citizens have about the administration of
justice, that is increasing due to the inefficiency to solve legal conflicts, this article inquire into the
possible causes of the courts congestion and judicial delay, according to the diagnosis made by La
Presidencia de la República and El Consejo Superior de la Judicatura. It will be concluded that both of
them are caused by a set of relevant factors not only to be found in the management of the judges,
but have multiple origins that must be considered when analysing and proposing strategies to fight
this endemic problem of our administration of justice. |
