It is mandatory that the environmental authority, that is not just the Environmental Ministry but also the Health Mi-nis-try, Agriculture Ministry, ICA (Co-lom-bian Agricultu-ral Institute) and INVIMA (National Drugs and Food Sur-veillance Institute), develop a Bio-se-curity and Biotechnology integral policy, and consequently they present as soon as possible a Marco Law which be in charge of regulating Biotechnology in Colombia.Las implicaciones jurídicas de los alimentos transgénicos en Co-lombia demuestra que es necesario que se establezca un marco legal de Bioseguridad sólido.
