Este número ha entrado en alza pos-1998 cuando se agravaron las dificultades de coordinación desde la oferta y la demanda. El presente trabajo analiza las elecciones desde 1986 a 2022, y explora algunas dimensiones que dan cuenta del origen y desarrollo de dicho exceso y sus efectos en el sistema de partidos.
