Summary: The paper analyzes two legal mechanisms of suprastate control in the Regional Systems for the Protection of Human Rights: Control of Conventionality and the Transformative Social Reparation. From the philosophical and historical analysis, the way in which these legal innovations, typical of the InterAmerican System for the Protection of Human Rights, can contribute to the consolidation of global governance and cosmopolitanism is analyzed. The document analyzes the contributions of the conventional control of the laws to the modern theory of the State, describes the system of the sources of said control and the regime of the protection of rights and liberties. It raises a hypothetical continental jurisdiction based on the possibilities that these two legal tools offer to the ideal of international economic justice.
