It is necessary to review the Spanish enacted regulation in this area, as well as the self-regulating attempts and the very same regulation attempts by the own social media in their terms of use, and the challenges and issues raised by the social media as far as the protection of honor is concerned.Este trabajo realiza un análisis de la confrontación entre la libertad de expresión y la protección del honor en las Redes Sociales. El objetivo del artículo es ponderar estos derechos y determinar las colisiones típicas entre ambos derechos, así como los riesgos específicos que presentan las RRSS para el honor de los usuarios.
