Summary: This paper analyzes the consequences related to the development of working time control systems in the face of the challenges derived from the application of technological advances. The aspects that are developed in this work are based on the idea of looking for new spaces in which a more flexible control of work activity is promoted. This is accompanied by an adequate limitation of the organization of working time. One of the main problems lies in the extension of remote work and pseudo teleworking, especially due to the crisis generated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is presented as a certainly general interest. This objective must be developed by virtue of new practices that respect the fundamental rights of workers, adjusting the organization of working time and ensuring work-life balance and the necessary rest for workers. For these purposes, the effective exercise of the right to digital disconnection is manifested as an essential guarantee.
