Summary: Based on studies conducted by Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky regarding human decision-making in the field of behavioral psychology, this article intends to analyze the impact of cognitive and heuristic biases on judicial judgments carried out by collegiate organs. The aim of this article is not to empirically prove cognitive biases - which may be the subject of future studies, but to consider how biases can be amplified in collegiate organs. It starts with the hypothesis that collegiality will only be effective in correcting cognitive biases if it is willing to get rid of its own heuristic and biasing processes.
