Summary: “COVID-19” is the name given to the disease caused by a new coronavirus with high contagion power, which found within a globalized society the ideal scenario for its accelerated advance, quickly crossing national borders, showing the existence of transnational problematic issues, and emphasizing the importance of seeking more effective answers to these challenges. Therefore, this article aims to study the new coronavirus before the transnational reality and investigate the possibility of using the mechanisms of Transnational Law as an alternative to combat the pandemic. The methodology is founded in the inductive method, from the use of techniques such as referent, category, operational concepts, bibliographic research, and filing. With the study it became evident that we are dealing with a transnational problem, not only because the virus has spread across the globe, but also because national states are not able to provide consistent responses to the fight against the pandemic, especially for its disordered actions. It was concluded that it is possible to analyze the new coronavirus at the transnational level, although there is an evident need for further study on the subject, showing the possibility of facing issues such as the pandemic through the use of the mechanisms included in Transnational Law.
