Summary: The present work aims to prove that good faith might be considered not only as a principle within the patrimonial Civil Law, but also as a principle within the Family Law. Being like that, family good faith would allow to determine that the members of a family have the duty of behaving loyally and correctly while accomplishing the duties and obligation among them, so a disloyal and incorrect behavior would constitute bad faith, which can be considered as an argument to sustain a compensation action for the breach of family duties.
