The last chapter in its path of constant change is the reform of the LOPJ that at the end of 2018 modified a series of relevant issues related to the Council, of which the present work wants to analyze two, regarding the appointment of high judicial positions and the configuration of the structure of the Council and the dedication of its members. The reform can be assessed in a globally positive way in these aspects, but it is necessary to act on a capital problem: the way of appointing the members of judicial origin, an omission that causes the reform to be considered unfinished, as another piece in a task of organ remodeling that seems already permanent.Pese al tiempo transcurrido desde su creación, el CGPJ no ha conseguido aún dotarse plenamente de una fisonomía estable. Los sucesivos cambios legislativos, unidos a sus tradicionales problemas de funcionamiento, hacen de él un órgano en constante evolución, sin que las causas que han motivado las críticas que tradicionalmente ha recibido hayan sido abordadas por el legislador más que de modo fragmentario. El último capítulo en su camino de cambio constante lo constituye la reforma de la LOPJ que a finales de 2018 modificó una serie de cuestiones relevantes relativas al Consejo, de las que el presente trabajo quiere analizar dos, relativas al nombramiento de altos cargos judiciales y a la configuración de la estructura del Consejo y de la dedicación de sus miembros.
