The current essay shows some thoughts about
the consequences to the criminal law system that
the growing status of the victim have brought. It
analyses how the victim of crime have nowadays a
major participation in different fields of the criminal
law system as promoting criminal law reforms or
acquiring a leading role on the stages of the criminal
law process. It sustains that the criminal law reforms
made in the name of the crime victims is stimulating
a disturbance in the system of guarantees in the
criminal law, without any substantial positive effects
over the real crime victims. |
