The research is also supported by a study of the agricultural ecologic conception in regard to the land exploitation and the regulatory legal instrument designed to protect its conservation.El presente artículo se encamina a analizar la legislación vigente en Cuba referente a la protección del componente suelo, donde se determina la necesidad de combinar la aplicación de la normativa legal actual con el imperio de producir alimentos bajo el principio del uso de la tierra desde una perspectiva de desarrollo sostenible, y mediante el desempeño de una agricultura que presente profundos valores ecológicos.
