During the last years, the legal status of religious groups and
their relations with the State have gone through an important
transformation in Argentinian law. The traditionnally privileged status of
the Catholic Church has been maintained, but some of the advantages of that status have been extended to other religious communities. This trend
towards the increased closeness of the legal situation of different religious
groups has led, however, to a bigger separation between them and other
non-religious groups. |
