For some years now, alternative dispute resolution has been unstoppable in almost all areas of the
Spanish justice system. The contentious-administrative process is not an exception. However, as is well known, there are
multiple difficulties in incorporating different alternative methods in the contentious-administrative process: principles,
fundamentals, leitmotiv, etc. The present work explores some of the ways that, based on the Law 29/1998, of July 13,
