Summary: This is a reflection article derived from the Self-evaluation process of the Universidad de Antioquia undergraduate degree in Law, for the purpose of renewing the quality accreditation, granted by the Consejo Nacional de Acreditación (CNA), attached to the Ministry of Education. Registered as a research project before the Faculty Research Center, according to the Technical Research Committee act 04-2015 of April 8, 2015. This article intends to make visible the contributions that the legal program of the Universidad de Antioquia has made in legal terms, in theoretical terms and from the experience of its projects, programs, activities and academic practices in which it is a pioneer at national level. The Law program is a benchmark of both teaching and learning law and with an impact on the less favored communities of Medellín as well as some municipalities of Antioquia. It facilitates access to justice, legal-political formation of communities and social transformation.
