Laburpena: The article under consideration is a study of the writ of amparo as a remedy in the Nicaraguan legal system. It starts with the general characteristics of the constitutional justice in Nicaragua through the different constitutional controls, mechanisms and the supervisory bodies, explores into the legal nature of the remedy in Nicaragua and its role and purpose. Similarly, studies the procedure of the remedy of persons authorized covering the stages of action and concludes with the sentence and its effects. In the Nicaraguan constitutional-legal system. The remedy has a dual legal nature: a mechanism for protection of constitutional rights and guarantees and, eventually, allows control of rules in specific cases.
